This Privacy Policy describes how Philo (“Philo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles your information when you access or use our macOS application.

Philo is owned and operated by PT. Inti Kreatif Informatika, a company registered in Indonesia. While we respect your privacy and aim to be as transparent as possible, please note that Philo does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our servers.

1. Scope of This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies solely to the Philo macOS application. It explains what limited information is processed locally and how Apple’s services are integrated for payments.

We do not collect, store, or transmit personal data such as email addresses, phone numbers, payment data, analytics, or location.

2.1 Locally Stored Information

  • Name: If you enter your name into the app, this information is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to us or any third party.
  • App Settings & Preferences: Your usage preferences and settings are also stored only on your device.

3. Payments

Philo uses Apple StoreKit to process in-app purchases. All payment transactions are handled directly by Apple in accordance with Apple’s Privacy Policy.
We do not have access to your billing information, Apple ID, or purchase history.

4. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not share, sell, or disclose your personal information to any third party, because we do not collect any.

5. Your Rights

Even though we do not collect or store personal data, we respect your rights under:

  • General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
  • California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)

Since Philo does not process your data, we cannot fulfill requests like data access, correction, or deletion — because we simply do not hold such data.

Philo does not use cookies or any tracking technologies. The app does not track your behavior, device data, or interactions.

7. Children’s Privacy

Philo is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

All data stored in Philo (such as name or preferences) remains on your local device. We recommend enabling your device’s native security features (such as password protection, Touch ID, or FileVault) to protect your data.

9. International Users

While Philo is operated from Indonesia, it is available globally. No personal data is transferred across borders or outside your device.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of Philo after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
